At the age of approximately
6 months, your baby will start showing the first signs of teething.
They will continue to teeth until they are approx 18 months old.
Teething is a time when your babies gums will become inflamed as their
first teeth start to break through.
Signs to look out for are :

- Production of
more saliva causing them to dribble
- Swollen areas in
the mouth where the teeth may be about to break through
- Putting their
fingers into their mouth
During this time you will find your child is likely to require a lot more
comforting. As your childs teeth begin to cut through it is important to
start the process of brushing , and items such as the toothbrush with a
difference enable your child to familiarize themselves with the process of
brushing their teeth. Alternatively, you could use the finger
toothbrush that is ideal for gently massaging the gums as the teeth
break through.
